The Healthy Wave PRO PEMF mat features five healing therapies: PEMF, Photon Light, Negative Ion, Far Infrared, and Crystal therapies. The crystals in the mat are a unique combination of jade, tourmaline and amethyst which amplifies negative ion and Far Infrared therapy, while the photon light therapy acts as an amplifier to not only provide unique phototherapy, but to enhance all 4 other therapies present in the mat. There are many positive customer reviews and testimonials on the Healthy Wave mat supporting its effectiveness as a top health therapy mat.

  • Price:
4.5/5

The Healthy Wave PRO PEMF mat is priced at $1,935.70 USD, which is a good deal compared to Bemer and IMRS mats, which are priced over $3,500 USD. This is combined with the fact that Bemer and IMRS only provide PEMF therapy in their mats, while Healthy Wave provides 4 additional therapies on top of their PEMF therapy.

  • Ease of use:
4.5/5

The Healthy Wave PRO mat is relatively easy to use, with a dial on the controller to adjust temperature/intensity of the therapy being used, 3 time functions, a button used to activate/deactivate PEMF therapy and Phototherapy. The Healthy Wave website also has a lot of useful information when it comes to their mat and have an excellent customer service team to assist with any questions or issues.

The Bemer Classic PEMF mat set features only PEMF therapy. The technology in the mat attempts to pulse PEMF waves 33 times per second through each twenty minute mat session. This pulse frequency helps with microcirculation which can aid in immune system support and relaxation. The mat also has a intensity range that is close to the ideal frequency for PEMF therapy on the lower end of its intensity options. The Bemer Classic provides adequate PEMF therapy, as proven by many scientific studies, but it lacks some of the supporting therapies that can amplify it to make it more effective.

  • Price:
2/5

The Bemer Classic set sells for $4,290 USD, over $2,000 more than the Healthy Wave PRO PEMF mat. It’s price point is unaffordable for many people, especially those who are interested in PEMF therapy, but are not so forthcoming to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a product that while effective, doesn’t provide any additional value in terms of additional therapies.

  • Ease of use:
4/5

The Bemer Classic is easy to use, coming with 3 pre set programs and 10 different intensity levels that the user can choose from. Additionally, the controller can be programmed for specific treatments, which is useful for medical professionals and those who have specific needs from their PEMF mat. In terms of information online, the Bemer US website has limited information on their products, however the Bemer Germany website has more information.

The iMRS 2000 complete uses a sawtooth shaped waveform in it’s PEMF therapy. The applicators included in the 2000 complete set (such as the pillow) use a square shaped waveform. iMRS utilizes the sawtooth waveform in their mats as they claim this waveform is the most beneficial for reaching the body’s cell at a high intensity. However, it is uncertain whether different waveforms are solely responsible for more effective PEMF therapy, as it is commonly thought of to be a combination of waveform AND frequency that increases effectiveness.

  • Price:
1.6/5

The price for the iMRS 2000 complete set is $4,565 USD, making it the most expensive mat reviewed on this page. It does not seem to have any special functions or applicators that separate it from Healthy Wave mats or Bemer, so it’s high price point seems unjustified, especially since their defining ‘sawtooth’ waveform used in their PEMF therapy has not been proven to provide superior therapy results.

  • Ease of use:
3.5/5

The iMRS 2000 is more challenging to use than the Bemer and Healthy Wave mat products. It has 3 pre set settings, however, it does not have as many intensity settings as Bemer, and it is harder to program for specific use. It is also fairly challenging to get information and support on iMRS products when compared to other mat companies.
